The Audio Dynamix X05-UE3 offers modern styling, portability and serious music performance in a fully featured package which rivals that of wireless speakers costing significantly more.

Don’t allow yourself to be distracted by its appealing looks, the UE3’s audio configuration is a thing of beauty too. So if you want cool-looking music power with just a hint of retro chic, then it’s time to take a look at the ADX X05-UE3!.

British audio innovation

Since their launch in September 2012, Devon’s Audio Dynamix have brought a number of innovative portable audio products to the market.

Determined to ensure their products ‘produce the best sound in their respective category’, ADX focuses on wireless music technologies exploiting the latest functionality in order to deliver the quality performance their customers expect. Though the company never compromise on component quality, all products are competitively priced.

Characterful design

Measuring just a mere 20.2cm x 5.9cm x 8.9cm, the Audio Dynamix X05-UE3 features a curvaceous and compact brushed-aluminium cabinet which, despite its tasteful good looks, is also solid and durable. Sporting a prominent retractable handle to underline its convenient portability, the slightly retro-styled ADX X05-UE3 has a fine-grained speaker grille at the front which is decorated with a large, centred ADX logo.

The top surface incorporates a recess which houses a rubberised touch-response control surface whose functions are clearly marked. Tucked out of sight at the rear of the cabinet, the charging port and aux input socket are located near the top, with the space below providing room to store the connecting jack cable used for ‘aux mode’ playback.

Uncompromising audio performance

With each of their wireless speaker designs, ADX have shown their strong commitment to music performance via the quality of their internal components.

The ADX X05-UE3 is no exception to this trend and features an audio configuration centred upon a pair of robust 50-mm speaker drivers equipped with tough Kevlar diaphragms and a 16-core neodymium magnet system.

Producing a (combined) maximum power output of 24 watts in total, these drivers are each teamed with a 70 x 35-mm bass radiator to enhance the reproduction of low-end signals.

This combination produces a well-balanced audio spectrum with a firm bass and crisp, well-focused high and mid-range content. As a result, music performances sound rich and full with plenty of undistorted volume and enough ‘kick’ to add characteristic feel and atmosphere to more vibrant material and party favourites.

Convenient feature set

The UE3 incorporates the latest Bluetooth V 4.0 and comes equipped with the premium-quality CSR8635 chipset to guarantee a great wireless audio streaming experience. This configuration also delivers excellent Bluetooth pairing up to a range of 20 metres.

To ensure your music always stays with you for as long as you want, the UE3’s grade A rechargeable battery will provide portable music power for up to 10 hours via Bluetooth, and for up to 20 hours when used with an external source via the aux input.
